ARLINGTON, Va. — Lidl US is kicking off the season with two holiday firsts: its debut holiday meal deal, priced at less than four dollars per person, and a limited-edition fragrance inspired by the retailer’s popular 49-cent croissant.
The highlight of Lidl’s holiday lineup is its new budget-friendly meal deal, available from December 10 to December 24. Designed to feed 12 people for less than four dollars each, the curated list includes a Dulano bone-in ham priced at just seventy-seven cents per pound through the MyLidl app, along with rolls, produce, casseroles, desserts, and other traditional sides. All items are sold separately, letting customers customize their holiday feasts.
“Lidl US is dedicated to making high-quality food accessible to everyone, especially during this time of year,” said Lidl US CEO Joel Rampoldt. “We’re proud to introduce our new holiday meal deal to help ensure our customers can create cherished meals with their loved ones without the burden of a hefty price tag.”
Also making its debut is Eau de Croissant, a limited-edition perfume created by UK perfumer Sarah McCartney. The scent captures the warm, buttery aroma of Lidl’s French-made, European-butter croissants and is housed in a croissant-shaped 15-ml bottle. Shoppers can enter to win a bottle on the retailer’s Instagram account, @lidlus, through December 18.*
Along with the new products, Lidl is reintroducing seasonal staples from its Preferred Selection premium range and Favorina holiday treats, including items like dry-cured Serrano ham, Christmas cookie assortments, and classic chocolate figures.
