LAS VEGAS – Lonnie McQuirter, director of operations for 36 Lyn Refuel Station in Minneapolis, has been named NACS chairman for 2026-27, as the association announced new leadership for its retailer and supplier boards during the NACS Show.
McQuirter began his term following the October 6 NACS Board of Directors meeting. He leads an independently owned convenience store in South Minneapolis known for supporting locally made products and community engagement. The business has earned three Inc. 5000 honors and a place on the Minneapolis-St. Paul Business Journal’s Fast 50 list.
As chairman, McQuirter also heads the NACS Executive Committee, which provides strategic direction and financial oversight for the association.
Varish Goyal, CEO of Loop Neighborhood Markets, will serve as vice chairman and treasurer and vice chairman for legislative affairs. Other vice chairmen include Chris Bambury, president of Bambury Inc., for retail engagement, and Charles McIlvaine, a Maverik board member, for research and technology.
Serving as vice chairmen at large are Tom Brennan, chief merchandising officer of Casey’s General Stores; Natalie Morhous, CEO of RaceTrac; Travis Sheetz, president and CEO of Sheetz; and Brian Donaldson, CEO of Ireland-based Maxol.
The committee also includes outgoing NACS chairman Annie Gauthier, CFO and co-CEO of St. Romain Oil Co., which operates Y-Not Stop, and former chairman Don Rhoads, president and CEO of The Convenience Group.
Christian Stein, managing member of Center Independent Oil Stores in Clinton, Pa., was elected to the NACS Board of Directors. The member-driven association is led by a 30-member board that includes three retailers from outside North America.
NACS also announced changes to its Supplier Board. Kevin LeMoyne, senior vice president of customer leadership at The Coca-Cola Co., was named chairman for 2026-27. Mike Gilroy, vice president of trade development and sponsorship at Mars Snacking, was named chair-elect. Both will serve as supplier representatives on the NACS Board of Directors.
The Supplier Board’s new vice chairmen are Danielle Holloway, senior director of industry engagement at Altria Group Distribution Co.; Kevin Kraft, vice president of emerging channels at Olipop; and Matt Domingo, senior director of external relations at Reynolds.
The Supplier Board elected four new members: Jeffry Harrison, co-founder and president of Rovertown; Diane Striegel, director of sales at Lifeway Foods; Erik Ogren, CEO of Patron Points; and Brad Haga, senior vice president of prepared food and dispensed beverages at Casey’s General Stores.
