OKLAHOMA CITY — Love’s Travel Stops continues to expand its national footprint and modernize existing locations as part of its $700 million Road Ahead Plan, opening a new travel stop in Florida and completing renovations at sites in Oklahoma and Illinois.
The retailer recently opened a new travel stop in Gretna, Fla., along Interstate 10. The location adds 121 truck parking spaces, bringing Love’s total new truck parking capacity added in 2026 to 991 spaces. The company said the expansion supports freight movement along a key transportation corridor while helping address the ongoing shortage of truck parking nationwide.
To mark the opening, Love’s donated $2,500 each to Gretna Elementary School and West Gadsden Middle School, and $5,000 to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.
The company also celebrated the reopening of a renovated country store in Elk City, Okla., and a remodeled travel stop in Roscoe, Ill. Both locations feature upgraded sales floors and modernized restrooms designed to improve traffic flow and enhance the customer experience.
“Guests can now experience updated environments designed to improve traffic flow and elevate the overall shopping experience,” Love’s said, noting that it has completed updates at 18 locations and opened 10 new stores so far this year.
As part of the reopening celebrations, Love’s donated $5,000 to the Oklahoma Health Foundation and $5,000 to Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago.
The expansion and renovation efforts are part of the company’s previously announced plan to invest $700 million in new locations, upgrades and infrastructure improvements during 2026.
