Majors Management acquires 35 c-stores from ACT

Acquisition brings MAPCO's Award-Winning Convenience Experience to Ohio, Indiana, and Pennsylvania.

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. — Majors Management, LLC, an owner and operator of convenience stores and retail fueling locations across the United States, has finalized its acquisition of 35 fuel and convenience store sites from Alimentation Couche-Tard Inc. (Circle K). The acquired locations, spanning Indiana, Ohio, and Pennsylvania, will be converted to MAPCO stores, extending the brand’s award-winning convenience experience into three new states.

The transaction follows a Federal Trade Commission (FTC) consent order that required Couche-Tard to divest certain assets to maintain healthy market competition. Majors Management was selected as the buyer for the 35 sites due to its strong operational track record and long-term investment strategy in the convenience retail sector.

“These stores are an exciting strategic addition for Majors Management, and we are thrilled to expand the MAPCO brand into Ohio, Indiana, and Pennsylvania,” said Ben Smith, President of Majors Management. “We are honored to serve customers in three new states and welcome them to the MAPCO experience, which combines quality fuel, great food and beverage selections, and the convenience and rewards customers love.”

Over the coming months, the acquired stores will be rebranded and upgraded to align with MAPCO’s customer-first model. This includes the introduction of MAPCO’s MYReward$ loyalty program, which enables shoppers to earn points on every purchase and redeem them for discounts on fuel and in-store items. Customers will also have access to MAPCO’s growing selection of grab-and-go meals, fresh coffee, and modern amenities designed to meet the needs of today’s on-the-go consumers.

In keeping with its commitment to local communities and continuity of service, Majors Management plans to retain existing store-level employees wherever possible. The company also indicated that it will invest in remodeling efforts to ensure the new MAPCO locations reflect the brand’s high standards for cleanliness, convenience, and service.

MAPCO, already a recognized and trusted name across the Southeastern U.S., has garnered accolades for its clean stores, fresh offerings, and emphasis on customer rewards. The expansion into new markets marks a strategic next step for the company as it looks to grow its national footprint while continuing to deliver on its promise of “Convenience You Can Count On.”

Majors Management operates hundreds of convenience stores and fuel locations under various banners across more than 20 states and distributes fuel to independent operators nationwide. The addition of these 35 locations brings MAPCO into three new territories, strengthening Majors’ presence in the Midwest and Northeast regions.
