BALA CYNWYD, Pa. – Make-A-Wish Philadelphia, Delaware & Susquehanna Valley is proud to announce The GIANT Company's continued support of local children with critical illnesses through a $250,000 donation that will grant 20 wishes. Through this meaningful partnership, GIANT stores across the region will host special in-store celebrations that bring the power of a wish to life while creating unforgettable moments for wish children and their families.

Each event is a one-hour celebration designed to honor a local wish child. Store team members will guide children through a fun-filled scavenger hunt, spotlight the wish The GIANT Company has helped make possible, and gather with family, friends, and community members to celebrate the hope, joy, and strength that a wish inspires.
"For many wish kids, a wish provides something incredibly powerful: hope, joy, and the chance to simply be a kid during an incredibly difficult time," said Jennifer Davis, President & CEO of Make-A-Wish Philadelphia, Delaware & Susquehanna Valley. "We are deeply grateful to The GIANT Company and its dedicated team members for their continued commitment to our mission. Together, we are creating life-changing experiences for local children and reminding families that an entire community is standing beside them."
Make-A-Wish creates life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. A wish gives children the opportunity to look beyond their diagnosis, replacing fear with optimism and providing moments of joy that can have a lasting impact on their emotional well-being.
“The GIANT Company is pleased to team up with Make-A-Wish again this year as part of our longstanding commitment to supporting children and strengthening communities,” said Rebecca Lupfer, chief merchant, The GIANT Company and Chair of the 2027 Evening of Wishes. “Knowing we’re able to help bring moments of happiness and hope to children and families facing critical illnesses when they need it most is incredibly meaningful to our entire team – we can’t wait to celebrate our 2026 wish recipients this year!”
