DEERFIELD, Ill. — Mary Langowski is executive vice president and president of Walgreens Health at Walgreens Boots Alliance (WBA).
In this role, she oversees the company’s portfolio of health care businesses, health and biopharma services, drug procurement and supply chain, reimbursement and contracting, and commercialization. She also leads operations for Walgreens’ Specialty Pharmacy business, which focuses on the treatment of complex or rare conditions. A member of the WBA Executive Committee, she is responsible for enterprise strategy, corporate development and M&A.
A nationally recognized health care leader, Langowski has decades of experience in leadership roles across health plans, pharmaceutical manufacturers, pharmacies, retail health care services and provider organizations, as well as senior roles in federal and state government.
Before joining WBA, Langowski served as chief executive officer of Solera Health, a leading technology company that she successfully transformed to create the first-of-its-kind, fully integrated, value-based digital-first delivery system serving payers and employers to drive cost savings and care in lower-cost settings.
Langowski previously served as executive vice president and chief strategy and corporate development officer at CVS Health, where she helped shape the organization’s transformation as a health care company, spearheading the foundational work for its health care services strategy, and contributing to key aspects of CVS’ acquisition of Aetna.
