GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Meijer announced today that its Michigan shoppers collectively saved nearly $200 million over the past year through its mPerks digital rewards program, which offers weekly deals on groceries, merchandise, and fuel.
The free program, now in its 15th year, provides Meijer customers with access to more than $1,000 in weekly savings through the retailer’s app. Meijer, which operates 241 supercenters across six Midwest states, has seen growing engagement in its digital loyalty offerings as customers continue to seek value.
"Now more than ever, we know shoppers are looking for value, and that every dollar counts," said Emily Henao, Meijer Vice President of Digital Experience. "Our customers know us as a reliable one-stop shop committed to providing the best value and convenience possible, and we hope they take full advantage of the savings and rewards that free mPerks membership offers."
Summer perks include 30 points per gallon on fuel at Meijer Express through August 16. The company also introduced Quick ID, which lets customers link their credit cards directly to their mPerks account, streamlining the checkout process at the pump.
Enhanced in 2023, mPerks now allows customers to earn points on nearly every purchase and redeem them for discounts, including up to $1 off per gallon of gas.
Customers can sign up for free at meijer.com/mperks or via the Meijer app.
