GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Volunteer registration is now open for the 12th annual Meijer LPGA Classic for Simply Give, as organizers aim to recruit over 1,400 volunteers for the June 18–21 event at Blythefield Country Club.
The tournament, a key stop on the LPGA Tour, merges professional golf with Meijer’s Simply Give hunger relief initiative, which supports food pantries across the Midwest. Since its launch in 2014, the event has raised more than $13 million for hunger relief efforts.
“Our volunteers make this tournament truly special,” said Cathy Cooper, executive director of the Meijer LPGA Classic. “Their dedication helps deliver a memorable experience for fans and players while advancing our mission to support local communities through Simply Give.”

Volunteer roles include walking scorers, hole marshals, hospitality attendants, and general support positions across the course. A flexible “General Volunteer” option allows participants to assist where needed during their scheduled shifts.
The $30 volunteer fee covers tournament apparel, weekly grounds passes, parking, and meals during shifts. Organizers note that positions are filled on a first-come, first-served basis and encourage early registration.
The four-day tournament will feature 144 of the world’s top female golfers competing in a 72-hole stroke play format, supporting Meijer’s broader strategy of connecting community engagement with large-scale experiential events tied to its brand and charitable platforms.
