Metro Plus Candiac Completes $3.5M Store Modernization
CANDIAC, Quebec — Metro Plus Candiac has completed a $3.5 million renovation project that transformed the store at 50 Montcalm Boulevard North, adding new food concepts, expanded product selections and upgraded services.
The newly modernized store now features Aki Thaï, Aki Grill and Aki Boba concepts, along with an enhanced assortment of specialty foods, bakery and pastry items, health products and an updated SAQ section. New additions also include an Adonis concept, a Chocolats Favoris counter and a Starbucks café.
Metro Plus Candiac has expanded its specialty offerings with products such as Wagyu beef, aged beef and pork, and a wider selection of craft beers.
The renovation project also introduced several customer-focused upgrades, including a bistro, Click and Collect service, additional self-checkout stations and redesigned departments. The floral department now offers customized bouquets for special events, while the prepared foods area has been enhanced with new self-serve counters.

To celebrate the completion of the renovation, the store will host special events and activities from Oct. 15-18, with additional festivities planned on subsequent weekends.
Metro Plus Candiac also participates in Metro’s Moi rewards program, which allows customers to earn and redeem points across Metro, Super C, Jean Coutu, Brunet and Première Moisson locations.
