As vice president of merchandising for beauty and personal care and Hispanic strategy at CVS Health, Michelle LeBlanc is focused on bringing beauty and personal care to life in ways that meet real, everyday needs — right in the neighborhoods CVS Pharmacy serves. With 20 years at CVS, LeBlanc has built a career centered on leading through change, developing talent and driving continual impact. Her people-first leadership style, combined with a deep curiosity about consumers, trends and the retail landscape, shapes the work she leads today.
“CVS is a health and beauty retailer rooted in the community,” LeBlanc says. “With a curated assortment, an approachable shopping experience and proximity to people’s homes, we’re continuing to strengthen our role as a go-to destination for head-to-toe beauty — especially in skin care, where we’re supporting healthier skin at every stage of life.”
LeBlanc is most energized by a shift she’s hearing directly from shoppers: a move away from using beauty to hide or slow aging, toward embracing age with a focus on longevity. “That shift tells me people are beginning to see beauty as part of their overall health,” she explains. “For CVS, this is especially powerful — we live at the intersection of beauty and wellness, our shoppers trust us in this space, and it’s why I find so much joy in building experiences that bring this to life in their communities.”
In her first year in the role, LeBlanc was recognized by Cosmetics Executive Women (CEW) as one of Beauty’s New Bosses — a true pinch-me moment.
