Fresh & Easy Neighborhood Market reached and then quickly passed the 150-store mark earlier this month.

“Celebrating our 150th store is a wonderful milestone,” Fresh & Easy chief executive officer Tim Mason said on April 7 at an outlet in Burbank, Calif., one of four that the supermarket retailer opened that day. “And we’re excited to continue opening even more stores in all types of neighborhoods.”

Fresh & Easy also opened stores that day in Ontario, Downey and Baldwin Park, Calif.

In the next two weeks it added four more outlets in California (one each in La Quinta and Wasco, and two in Bakersfield) and three in Arizona (one in Scottsdale and two in Phoenix). The grocery retailer also operates stores in Nevada.
