Murphy USA reported a net income of $141.9 million in Q4 2025, nearly unchanged from $142.5 million in the same period last year. Full-year net income was $470.6 million, a decrease from $502.5 million in 2024.
“Fourth quarter results were strong across the board, underscoring the strength of our operating model and execution against our organic growth goals,” said President and CEO Mindy West. She noted that with two stores already opened year to date and 18 locations currently under construction, the company is “well positioned for sustainable organic growth in the years ahead.”
Merchandise performance improved during the quarter, with contribution dollars rising 2.1% to $213.2 million. For the full year, merchandise contribution increased 4.2% to $869.0 million, reflecting continued focus on in-store performance as the chain expands its footprint.
Operating expenses increased both this quarter and for the full year, primarily due to costs associated with opening new stores, higher employee expenses, and maintenance at existing locations.
Looking ahead, Murphy USA stated that its expanding pipeline of new-to-industry stores and raze-and-rebuild projects supports higher growth expectations into 2026 and beyond, while maintaining a disciplined capital approach. The company also emphasized flexibility to pursue small, targeted acquisitions as part of its development strategy.
