WASHINGTON — The National Association of Chain Drug Stores has launched Fall Into Health as part of its ongoing Nourish My Health public education campaign. The September observance highlights how NACDS member pharmacies, with over 25,000 locations nationwide, are helping families stay healthy as busy autumn routines begin.
In addition to offering vaccines, member pharmacies provide health screenings, dietitian-guided nutrition resources, and other essential services designed to promote community well-being.
“Fall Into Health highlights the essential role of pharmacies in meeting Americans where they’re at on their healthcare journey,” said NACDS President and CEO Steven C. Anderson. “Every day, in communities large and small, our member pharmacies provide the trusted care and support communities have come to rely on.”
Launched in 2023 in collaboration with leading national health organizations, Nourish My Health supports a national strategy to combat hunger, enhance nutrition, and reduce disease. The initiative promotes baseline health screenings, offers healthy eating guidelines, and conducts a nutrition security survey to expand access to and resources for professionals.
