WOONSOCKET, R.I. — Neela Montgomery has been named executive vice president of CVS Health and president of the company’s CVS Pharmacy retail unit, with responsibility for overseeing the company’s 10,000 U.S. pharmacies.
“Neela is a seasoned retail industry leader with extensive digital and e-commerce experience,” said Karen Lynch, who will become president and chief executive officer of CVS Health in February. “She brings deep consumer insights that will allow us to better anticipate consumers’ changing needs and deliver even more value to our customers in local, personalized ways.”
Montgomery, a board partner at the venture capital firm Greycroft, most recently served as CEO at Crate & Barrel, where she is credited with transforming its online sales channel. She has nearly 20 years of global retail experience, including leadership roles at the British multinational retailer Tesco.
