JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Whole Foods Market is set to debut a new 38,432-square-foot store at 1 Riverside Ave. in downtown Jacksonville, Florida, on May 21, 2026. Doors will open at 8:00 a.m. on opening day, with regular hours running daily from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

The store will offer a broad selection of more than 800 local products from across Florida, curated with support from Dustin Kennedy, Whole Foods Market’s Forager for Local & Emerging Brands.

Design elements throughout the space reflect the site’s history and surroundings. Vertical wooden slat walls nod to the former Florida Times-Union newspaper building that once occupied the location, while a calming palette of soft greens and blues evokes the river and sky along Jacksonville’s historic Brooklyn riverfront.
