WATERTOWN, Mass. — Culture Pop Soda, the Boston-based probiotic soda brand known for its real ingredients and lightly sweet flavor, has announced a new multi-year partnership with two-time Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Noah Kahan. The collaboration aims to emphasize authenticity — both in Kahan’s storytelling and in Culture Pop’s approach to crafting soda with real fruit juice, herbs, spices, and live probiotics.
The partnership begins this fall with a social media campaign featuring Kahan’s signature humor and small-town perspective, focusing on topics ranging from songwriting to gut health. Fans can follow @drinkculturepop for exclusive videos, giveaways, and upcoming sweepstakes. Additional activations are scheduled for 2026.
“Those other brands taste way too sweet,” Kahan says in one of the videos. “Culture Pop is good — and good for you. They do something those other brands don’t do.”
Known for hit songs like Stick Season and Dial Drunk, Kahan has built a loyal following through his honest, self-deprecating storytelling — a tone that reflects Culture Pop’s ethos of being “refreshingly real.”
“Culture Pop doesn’t really taste like anything else I’ve had before,” Kahan added. “It’s refreshing, not too sweet — and it’s good for my gut too.”
Culture Pop founder and CEO Tom First, who previously co-founded Nantucket Nectars, states that the partnership reflects the company’s values.
“Noah represents everything Culture Pop stands for — he’s authentic and real in a refreshing way,” First said. “He’s built a community by being himself, and that’s exactly what we’re doing with soda — making something real and doing it differently.”
Founded in 2020, Culture Pop Soda offers a range of probiotic sodas made with organic fruit juice and no refined sugar, stevia, or artificial sweeteners. The brand’s nine flavors are Whole30 Approved, non-GMO, gluten-free, plant-based, kosher, and shelf-stable.
