NEW YORK — The National Retail Federation (NRF) and Paris-based event organizer Comexposium have announced a major rebranding of the annual Paris Retail Week, signaling a new chapter for Europe’s retail industry. Starting in 2025, the conference will be known as NRF 2025: Retail’s Big Show Europe, set to take place from September 16–18 at the Paris Porte de Versailles. The event is expected to draw thousands of retailers and business leaders from across Europe, reinforcing Paris’s reputation as a global hub for retail innovation.

“NRF is proud to represent the largest global retail brands in the world, and we are excited to expand our award-winning educational experiences into new markets,” said NRF President and CEO Matthew Shay. With this new venture, NRF aims to replicate the success of its annual Big Show in New York City and the recently launched Retail’s Big Show Asia Pacific, which debuted to a sold-out crowd in Singapore earlier this year.

The rebranding of Paris Retail Week represents a deepening of the collaboration between NRF and Comexposium, two heavyweights in the global retail event space. Comexposium, which built Paris Retail Week from the ground up, has long been a key player in Europe’s omnichannel commerce scene. Each year, the event has attracted more than 350 exhibitors and featured over 200 conferences, offering insights on every facet of retail business.

Laurent Noel, Managing Director of Comexposium, sees the merger as a way to enhance the scope and influence of the event. “By joining forces with NRF, which shares our goal of helping retailers meet their business development challenges, we are bringing the best of both worlds to the market,” Noel said. The partnership aims to elevate the conference, making it the most dynamic and highly attended retail event in Europe.

NRF’s growing international presence reflects the increasingly globalized nature of retail, where trends and innovations spread rapidly across borders. The successful launch of Retail’s Big Show Asia Pacific in Singapore—where over 6,000 business leaders and 300 technology providers gathered—illustrates the growing appetite for retail insights on a global scale.

"Every single day, successful retailers are exploring new tools, new approaches, and new innovations to remain relevant to loyal shoppers and new customers alike," Shay noted. By expanding its footprint in Europe, NRF aims to provide industry leaders with the tools they need to stay competitive in an ever-evolving market.

Retail’s Big Show Europe will not only bring together European retailers but also attract global thought leaders and cutting-edge innovations. From emerging technology to consumer behavior trends, the conference will cover the entire spectrum of retail, helping attendees navigate both current challenges and future opportunities.

The 2025 event is poised to become a must-attend for those looking to stay at the forefront of retail transformation. With industry-leading speakers, premier content, and an expansive exhibition, the show promises to be the biggest retail event in Europe, offering a glimpse into the future of commerce.
