WASHINGTON — The NRF Foundation today released the names of six retail executives who will be celebrated as “The List of People Shaping Retail’s Future 2024” at the NRF Foundation Honors event in New York in January.

The honorees are:

• Julie Averill, chief information officer and executive vice president at Lululemon.

• Heidi Cooley, senior vice president and chief marketing officer at Crocs.

• Yael Cosset, senior vice president and chief information officer at The Kroger Co.

• Harley Finkelstein, president at Shopify.

• Jungming Kang, founder and CEO at Snoopslimes.

• Mecca Mitchell, senior vice president of leadership and organizational development, DEI and community impact at Burlington Stores.

“The 2024 honorees showcase the depth, diversity and ingenuity found throughout the retail industry,” announced Tony Spring, president at Macy’s Inc., chairman and CEO at Bloomingdales and chair of the NRF Foundation. “We look forward to honoring this extraordinary group of individuals and the realm of possibilities they represent to the next generation of retail leaders.”

The award highlights the wide range of companies, roles and products that are vital to retail and consumers, according to NRF, which noted that alumni of The List include leaders of beloved brands, creative startups and more.

“The retail industry is a great place to start and a great place to grow,” said Adam Lukoski, the NRF Foundation’s executive director. “This year’s honorees of The List are sparking incredible change across the retail industry — inspiring others to follow in their footsteps and create their own paths to success.”
