AMITYVILLE, N.Y. — Nubian Heritage has launched a new packaging design that it said reflects the different cultures of its global community.
The Sundial Brands LLC beauty and personal care brand said the enhanced packaging features textile patterns that pay homage to the diversity of healing traditions and cultures represented by each of its product collections.
Nubian Heritage’s offerings include African Black Soap facial care and 13 bath and body care collections with body wash, lotion, hand cream, hand and body scrub, infused shea butter, bar soap and deodorant.
The African Black Soap facial care collection’s packaging design complements its ingredients’ detoxifying properties, symbolizes purity and commemorates the strong community identity that textiles have in Africa, with each community having its own design, according to Nubian Heritage.
Renewing properties are highlighted with the Coconut and Papaya collection. The package symbolizes the sun and embodies prints and textiles from the Caribbean, which feature elaborate geometric designs made in a reverse appliqué process, the company said.
Meanwhile, the Abyssinian Oil and Chia Seed collection package design reflects the products’ revitalizing properties. Its pattern symbolizes faith and honors the textile history of Ethiopia.
Nubian Heritage said the product lines’ new look recognizes the healers whose time-honored recipes inspire the brand’s remedies, the places where it finds ingredients, and the people who embrace the brand’s products.
