Parker’s Kitchen adopts co-CEO model, names new CFO

The chain is currently expanding into new markets, including Myrtle Beach, Jacksonville, and Columbia.

L-R: John Rudolfs and John Rhine

SAVANNAH, Ga. — Parker’s Kitchen has restructured its executive team, promoting John Rudolfs to co-CEO alongside Brandon Hofmann, while elevating John Rhine to chief financial officer.

The company announced the leadership changes on September 26, highlighting a move to a co-CEO model intended to foster collaboration and strengthen its strategic growth efforts. Hofmann became CEO earlier this year following the transition of founder Greg Parker into the role of executive chairman.

“As we continue to grow, we’re making strategic adjustments to our senior leadership team that are designed to help us work even more collaboratively,” Parker said in a statement. “These promotions, unanimously recommended by our board of directors, will ensure excellence in everything we do, from award-winning foodservice to customer service.”

Rudolfs’ New Role

Rudolfs, who joined Parker’s in 2021 as Chief Development Officer, had been serving as President and CFO since earlier this year. A U.S. Navy veteran, he previously held senior leadership roles at MAPCO and Murphy Oil Corp./Murphy USA. As co-CEO, he will focus on operations and strategic expansion in partnership with Hofmann.

Rhine Steps Up to CFO

Rhine, who joined Parker’s in 2020 as a financial planning and analysis analyst, has advanced quickly through the ranks. He played a key role in securing a $1.1 billion loan to fund Parker’s growth initiatives. A former U.S. Army sergeant and squad leader, Rhine will now oversee the company’s financial strategy and execution.

Growth in the Southeast

Headquartered in Savannah, Parker’s Kitchen operates 103 stores across Georgia and South Carolina and employs more than 1,800 team members. The chain is currently expanding into new markets, including Myrtle Beach, Jacksonville, and Columbia.
