Parker’s Kitchen expands to Myrtle Beach area with new Conway Store

The new store is part of a $200 million investment in Myrtle Beach that will create about 500 jobs.

CONWAY, S.C. — Parker’s Kitchen, a nationally recognized convenience store and foodservice brand, recently named to the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing private companies for the eighth time, celebrated the grand opening of its first location in the greater Myrtle Beach area with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on October 27.

Local dignitaries, including Conway Mayor Barbara Jo Blain, City of Conway Mayor Pro Tem William Goldfinch, South Carolina State Representative Carla Schuessler, and Horry County Council Representative Tom Anderson, joined company leaders for the event.

As part of the celebration, Parker’s Kitchen founder and Executive Chairman Greg Parker and Outreach and Communications Manager Olivia Parker presented a $5,000 donation to Horry County Schools through the company’s Fueling the Community program, which donates a portion of gas sales on the first Wednesday of each month to local schools. Superintendent Cliff Jones accepted the donation on behalf of students and educators in the area.

Located at 3500 West Highway 501 in Conway, the new store is part of a $200 million investment in the Myrtle Beach economy, which will generate about 500 jobs in the area. Built with the chain’s signature Lowcountry-inspired architecture and lime-washed brick façade, the store also offers designer lighting, indoor dining, and grab-and-go food options.

The Conway location offers Parker’s Kitchen’s signature Southern-style, made-from-scratch menu for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, including hand-breaded chicken tenders, mac ‘n’ cheese, potato logs, salads, and sandwiches. Beverages include bean-to-cup coffee, Parker’s Fancy Lemonade, energy drinks, sweet and unsweet tea, unsweetened tea, and 28-degree beer with the brand’s signature chewy ice.

Founded in Midway, Georgia, in 1976, Parker’s Kitchen employs more than 1,800 team members across South Carolina and Georgia and processes over 1.1 million transactions each week. The company is expanding into new markets, including Myrtle Beach, Columbia, and Jacksonville, Florida.
