West Sacramento — The Raley’s Companies has announced the promotion of Paul Gianetto to President of Raley’s Operating Division, effective immediately. Gianetto, a seasoned grocery industry veteran, will now oversee the performance and growth of Raley’s 119 stores across California and Nevada and the Natomas Distribution operations. In addition to Gianetto’s promotion, Natalie Slatter has been named Vice President of Store Operations.
With over 16 years of experience at Raley’s and a 21-year tenure at Ralphs Grocery Company, Gianetto brings a wealth of expertise to his new role. He will continue to lead the Sales and Merchandising functions while reporting directly to Keith Knopf, President and CEO of The Raley’s Companies.
“Paul is an exceptional leader who has consistently demonstrated his commitment to our customers, team members, and the overall success of Raley’s,” said Knopf. “His strategic vision and servant leadership have been instrumental in shaping our company’s direction, and we are confident he will excel in this new role.”
Gianetto joined Raley’s in 2008 and has held several key positions, most recently serving as Senior Vice President of Sales and Merchandising for the past seven years. His career began at a small chain of family-owned convenience stores in Anaheim, followed by a long and successful stint at Ralphs Grocery Company, where he advanced through store operations, marketing, and merchandising roles.
Slatter has been with Raley’s since 1999 and will now lead store operations across all Raley’s locations, as well as operations solutions and communications. She began her career as a night baker at Bel Air and has since risen through the ranks, holding positions such as Store Director, District Team Leader, and, most recently, Executive Director of Operations Solutions and Communications.
“Natalie’s innovative approach and dedication to excellence have been critical to our success,” said Gianetto. “I am confident she will continue to drive improvements in our store operations and enhance the customer experience.”
