NORTHRIDGE, Calif. — Pharmavite LLC has named Etienne Patout as chief marketing officer and Brett Buatti as vice president of operations.

Connie Barry, chairman and chief executive officer of Pharmavite, said Monday that with the addition of Patout and Buatti, the vitamins, minerals and dietary supplements maker has "considerably strengthened" its business.
A 20-year veteran of the consumer packaged goods (CPG) sector, Patout most recently was general manager and vice president for wholesome snacks at Kellogg Co. He also previously worked at Kraft Foods, where he was responsible for key brand portfolios.
Pharmavite noted that Buatti brings 20 years of manufacturing, supply chain and operations experience to the company. He has worked at a variety of CPG companies, including General Mills, Dole Food Co., Campbell Soup Co. and most recently as vice president of manufacturing at NBTY Inc.
"These key appointments come at an important time for Pharmavite, and I am certain that both Etienne and Brett’s leadership qualities and relevant experience will help drive the company to continued success over the coming years," Barry stated. "Etienne brings to Pharmavite a deep and broad understanding of the key tenets of consumer marketing, while Brett has proven expertise in operations and supply chain management."
