FLORENCE, Ky. — Publix has opening of its newest supermarket in Florence, Kentucky, marking the company’s third location in Northern Kentucky and its 10th store statewide.
Located at Farmview Commons, 8470 U.S. 42, Florence, KY 41042, the new store opened Oct. 7 and spans 55,817 square feet, offering customers Publix’s signature service, fresh food selections and convenient shopping options.

The new supermarket features Publix’s traditional departments, including:
- Deli offering a full-service selection of meats, cheeses, international olives, hummus and more than 150 artisan cheeses from around the world.
- Produce featuring organic and conventionally grown fruits and vegetables, locally grown selections and an extensive floral department.
- Bakery with fresh breads, rolls, cakes, cookies, pies, wedding cakes and specialty desserts prepared in-store.
- Meat offering custom-cut meats, Publix GreenWise chicken and ready-to-cook meal solutions prepared daily.
- Seafood featuring fresh fish and shellfish delivered throughout the week, along with hand-rolled sushi prepared daily.
- Pharmacy providing full-service prescription services and a wide assortment of vitamins, minerals and supplements.
In addition to its traditional grocery offerings, the Florence store includes several specialty services and dining destinations:
- Publix Liquors, located adjacent to the store, carrying beer, wine, spirits and accessories.
