ATLANTA — RaceTrac highlighted its ongoing partnership with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA) during the Southeast Youth of the Year Celebration on June 11 at the Georgia Aquarium, where exceptional teen leaders from across the region were honored for their leadership, service and achievements.
RaceTrac team members attended the event, and Jamie Miller, vice president of marketing, served as a judge for this year’s Youth of the Year program. Miller said the initiative aligns with the company’s commitment to supporting the communities where it operates.
“These honorees represent resilience, character and ambition,” Miller said. “When we support them, we’re investing in the next generation of innovators, community builders and changemakers who will define the future of our communities.”
Miller said she was impressed by the leadership qualities and personal stories shared by this year’s participants, noting their ability to overcome challenges while staying focused on making a positive impact in their communities.
RaceTrac’s support for BGCA extends beyond the annual celebration. The company’s Coffee for a Cause campaign, scheduled for July 19-25, will donate every dollar in coffee margin sales to the organization. RaceTrac also hosts volunteer events, including back-to-school celebrations at clubs in several markets, and sponsors fundraising events such as Youth of the Year galas, the Rebel Women’s Breakfast, and golf tournaments.
According to the company, RaceTrac and its guests have raised more than $1 million for Boys & Girls Clubs of America, supporting programs that help young people build leadership skills and pursue educational opportunities.
