BENTONVILLE, Ark. — The Sam’s Club division of Walmart has appointed David Badeen vice president of health care, with responsibility for pharmacy, over-the-counter, optical and hearing aid centers, as well as third-party contracting and pricing.

He reports to Jill Turner-Mitchael, senior vice president of health and wellness.
Badeen originally joined Walmart in 1985 as a pharmacy manager before moving to the home office in Bentonville in 1993 to serve as director of automated systems. From 1996 to 1998 Badeen was Sam’s Club’s director of pharmacy, and he subsequently went on to assume leadership roles within operations, new business development, merchandising and managed care at Walmart.
In other Sam’s Club news, George Agnacian, vice president of consumables, has received expanded responsibility encompassing health and beauty aids, tabletops/bags, pets, laundry and home care, baby care, restaurant supplies, paper, and commercial cleaning.
