MINNEAPOLIS — As consumer shopping habits continue to evolve, Sarah Travis is at the forefront of ensuring Target stays ahead of the curve. As executive vice president and chief digital and revenue officer, she leads the company’s efforts to create seamless, engaging and technology-driven shopping experiences.

“Digital plays a role in every point of the consumer journey,” Travis said. “What excites me most is the challenge of integrating digital in a way that is meaningful for our guests.”

Travis oversees Target’s expansive digital business, including site merchandising, digital operations, and Target Plus, the retailer’s growing third-party marketplace. She also leads the company’s social commerce strategy, helping consumers discover and shop Target through new platforms. Additionally, she oversees Roundel, Target’s in-house retail media company, one of the company’s fastest-growing businesses.

Before joining Target in 2021, Travis spent more than a decade at Google, where she helped brands and retailers connect with consumers through digital innovation. Her experience in shaping digital strategies at one of the world’s leading technology companies has influenced her approach at Target, where she’s focused on blending the ease of online shopping with the beloved in-store experience.

“Coming to Target, I saw firsthand how much innovation and strategy go into bringing the Tarzhay magic guests love in our stores to the digital experience,” she said.

Under her leadership, Target continues to evolve its digital presence while keeping shoppers at the center of every decision. “By keeping the guest at the center of everything we do, we’re bringing the full Target experience to life across digital, physical and social channels,” she said.
