FRANKLIN, Pa. – Save A Lot is returning to the Franklin community with the reopening of its grocery store at 317 Grant St., offering residents affordable access to fresh food and everyday essentials.The store will celebrate its grand opening Sept. 16-17 with special promotions, giveaways and community-focused events designed to welcome shoppers back.
“We’re excited to bring Save A Lot back to Franklin,” said Chris Olako, regional director for Save A Lot. “Our goal is to provide local families with high-quality food at prices that fit their budgets. From fresh-cut meat prepared in-store to fresh produce and pantry staples, we’re committed to delivering the quality and value our customers expect.”
Grand opening festivities begin Sept. 16. The first 100 customers arriving at 8 a.m. will receive a complimentary bag of grocery staples. At 9 a.m., Franklin Mayor Doug Baker and other local officials will join store representatives for a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
As part of the celebration, Save A Lot will donate $500 to the Atlantic Avenue Church food pantry to support local hunger relief efforts.
On Sept. 17, the first 100 customers will receive complimentary LunchMakers, and shoppers can take advantage of special savings on fresh-cut meat, produce and other grocery staples.
Save A Lot's stores focus on providing affordable grocery options through a mix of private-label and national brands, USDA-inspected meat cut fresh in-store, farm-fresh fruits and vegetables, and select non-food products. The Franklin location will also offer lottery tickets, cigarettes, beer and wine.
The reopening underscores Save A Lot’s commitment to expanding access to fresh, high-quality food in communities across the country while helping shoppers stretch their grocery budgets.
