HATFIELD, Pa. – The McMenamin family has officially reopened the ShopRite of Hatfield following a comprehensive, multi-phase renovation aimed at enhancing the shopping experience for local residents. The store remained open throughout the renovation process.
The newly upgraded supermarket features more than 8,000 reduced-price items, expanded fresh and prepared food selections, a larger sushi bar, a Chinese buffet, and a range of services and savings programs designed to provide greater convenience and value for shoppers.
The ShopRite of Hatfield is located at 170 Forty Foot Road, Hatfield, Pa.
The store is owned and operated by siblings Sean and Bria McMenamin, longtime Montgomery County residents and second-generation grocers. As parents and local business owners, they say their goal is to create a supermarket that meets the needs of today’s busy families.
“We are honored to serve the Hatfield community and continue our family’s tradition in the grocery business,” said Sean McMenamin, president of McMenamin Family ShopRites. “For more than three decades, our family has operated supermarkets in northeast Philadelphia, and we’re excited to bring that experience to our hometown market.”
Bria McMenamin said the renovation was guided by a vision of creating a welcoming, family-focused shopping destination.
“As brother and sister raising families of our own, we wanted to build the kind of store we would enjoy shopping in ourselves,” she said. “Customers today want convenience, quality and value in one place, whether they’re purchasing everyday essentials, prepared meals or items for special occasions. Our goal was to create a true one-stop shopping experience that reflects our commitment to service, community and affordability.”
