CHARLOTTE, N.C. — SPAR Group has appointed William Linnane as its chief executive officer, moving him into the permanent role after serving as president and interim CEO earlier this year. Linnane also joins the company’s board of directors.
Executive chairman James Gillis said Linnane has shown “outstanding leadership, strategic vision, and a strong dedication to SPAR’s mission, clients, and associates,” adding that his prior success in executive roles gives the board “complete confidence” in his ability to guide the company’s next phase of growth.
Linnane said he is honored to lead the team as SPAR advances its strategy to build a leaner and more profitable organization. “This new chapter marks a turning point for SPAR Group,” he said. “We are scaling a world-class organization built for performance, and I’m confident we’ll surpass our key financial goals in 2026.”
SPAR Group provides merchandising, marketing and distribution solutions to retailers and brands across the United States and Canada.
