Sprouts Farmers Market opens new store in Conyers, Georgia

Sprouts is marking the opening with a weekend of activities through Oct. 18.

CONYERS, Ga. — Sprouts Farmers Market opened a new store here on Friday, expanding the specialty grocer’s footprint in Georgia.

The store, located at 1648 Hwy. 138 SE, Suite 3, opened at 7 a.m. after a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The store is open daily from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.

The new store features Sprouts’ assortment of fresh produce, natural and organic foods, proteins, prepared foods, and wellness products. Its offerings include more than 7,000 vitamins, supplements, and wellness products, along with a bulk department and fresh meal options.

Sprouts is marking the opening with a weekend of activities through Oct. 18. The first 200 shoppers on Friday and Saturday will receive a reusable tote, and the first 400 guests on Friday will receive a long-stem rose from Falcon Farms Floral. Product sampling will also be available in-store.

Customers who sign up for Sprouts Rewards can receive 20% off one purchase during the grand opening weekend. The retailer’s loyalty program lets members earn points on in-store and online purchases and access exclusive offers and events.

Sprouts said the Conyers location will work with local and regional growers, including Southern Valley Fruit and Vegetable and Shuman Farms, to source its produce.

Through the retailer’s Food Rescue program, groceries that are no longer suitable for sale but are still edible will be donated to the Atlanta Community Food Bank.

Phoenix-based Sprouts operates more than 500 stores across 25 states and employs about 36,000 team members.
