BEDFORD, Texas — Sprouts Farmers Market opened a new store here Friday, expanding the specialty grocer’s footprint amid its nationwide growth.
The store at 221 N. Industrial Blvd. opened on Oct. 16 after a ribbon-cutting ceremony. It is open daily from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
The new location features Sprouts’ assortment of fresh produce, meat and seafood, prepared foods, vitamins and supplements, bulk foods, and other natural and organic products. The retailer said the store carries more than 7,000 vitamins, supplements, and wellness products.
Prepared-food offerings include fresh sushi, made-to-order and grab-and-go sandwiches, ready-to-eat meals, and Sprouts Wellness Bowls. The store also participates in Sprouts Rewards, the retailer’s nationwide loyalty program.
Sprouts is marking the opening with a three-day celebration through October 18. The first 200 shoppers on Friday and Saturday will receive a reusable tote, and the first 400 customers on Friday will receive a long-stem rose from Falcon Farms Floral. Product sampling will also take place throughout the weekend.
Sprouts said it works with local and regional suppliers, including Fredericksburg Peach Company and Little Bear Produce. Through the company’s Food Rescue program, the Bedford store will donate unsold but edible groceries to the Tarrant Area Food Bank.
Phoenix-based Sprouts employs about 36,000 team members and operates more than 500 stores across 25 states.
