SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. — Stater Bros. Markets has named Gil Salazar vice president of information technology.
He reports to president and chief executive officer Pete Van Helden.
“We are pleased to welcome Gil to the Stater Bros. family of employees,” Van Helden said in a statement. “His broad range of IT experience and leadership brings new opportunities which will allow Stater Bros. to meet the current and future needs of our customers, and all areas of the company.”
Salazar brings more than 27 years of information technology experience to his new position. Salazar most recently served as director of IT Services for Hyundai Capital America.
Before that he served as director of information technology for Partners Consulting; associate vice president of IT Services at AIG; vice president of information technology for Ford Motor Credit; and senior manager of systems infrastructure for ConAgra Foods Inc.
