SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. – Stater Bros. Markets unveiled last week a fully remodeled supermarket at 8640 Alondra Blvd. in Paramount, Calif., offering customers an upgraded shopping experience with enhanced amenities and expanded fresh food options.
The renovation included a modernized exterior featuring a new façade, along with extensive interior improvements designed to align the store with the chain’s newest locations. Shoppers noticed updated décor, new flooring and redesigned checkout areas.
The remodeled store also introduced several new convenience-focused offerings, including freshly prepared sushi made in-store by trained sushi chefs, a fruit-cutting station with fresh-cut produce, a burrito bar, and additional ready-to-eat meal solutions. New beverage options include agua frescas and boba drinks.
“We are pleased to bring the community of Paramount a completely upgraded shopping experience,” said Greg McNiff, president and CEO of Stater Bros. Markets. “Nearly everything customers see has been replaced or enhanced. This remodel reflects our commitment to the community and our appreciation for the loyalty of our customers.”
The store team celebrated the grand reopening beginning July 15, 2026, with special events and promotions. Customers also had the chance to win free groceries for a year during the celebration.
In addition, Stater Bros. Charities is donating a total of $12,500 to local nonprofit organizations. The following organizations will receive $2,500 each:
· Paramount Care Foundation – Project Hope Food Bank
· Bayfront Youth & Family Services
· Paramount Education Partnership (PEP)
· Children’s Dental Health Clinic
· Paramount Fire Station 31
