ATLANTA — A big part of Susanne Hall’s job as senior vice president and chief commercial officer at Coca-Cola Bottling Co. United Inc. (UNITED) is developing and executing plans that can sustain the brand’s long history of steady growth and stability.

“My mission and focus are driving sustainable, profitable growth at a rate faster than the beverage industry,” says Hall. “With my incredible team, we develop strategic growth plans, market our brand, sell to customers and create a revenue plan that ensures profitability.”

Founded in 1902 (a decade after Coca-Cola Co. was incorporated in Atlanta) and headquartered in Birmingham, Ala., Coca-Cola UNITED is among the largest bottlers and distributors of Coke products in the United States, with more than 10,000 associates located in more than 50 facilities across six Southeast states.

“The most interesting part of my job is focusing on long-term strategy — determining where we go in the next 10 years and exploring how our brands, our associates and our customers shape that vision,” adds Hall. “I also find it very rewarding to develop talent and build the next generation of leaders. Through coaching, development, mentorship and career pathing, I’m committed to preparing leaders who will drive our success for the next 50 years.”

A native of Louisiana, Hall joined the Coca-Cola system in 1996. The University of New Orleans alumna joined Coca-Cola UNITED in 2015 and the following year was promoted to the role of vice president of the company’s West Region, based in Baton Rouge, La., where she led approximately 2,600 associates in 12 sales centers spanning most of Louisiana and southern Mississippi.
