CRN emphasizes that supplements are not intended to replace a healthy diet but to help fill ongoing nutrient gaps identified in federal nutrition data and the Dietary Guidelines for Americans.

CRN has secured clarifying language in S.B. 862, ensuring supplements are not subject to baby food testing and labeling requirements.

The event will feature industry CEOs, an FDA official, and keynote speakers Jim VandeHei of Axios and physician-scientist Daniel Kraft.
“CRN urges the IRS to take the category approach and recognize all dietary supplements as eligible for reimbursement,” the group concluded.
CRN highlighted its own efforts to fill that gap.
The event will feature sessions on brand protection, influencer partnerships, press outreach, and networking for professionals in the supplement and functional food industries.
CRN members can vote for the 2025 honoree through August 6, with the winner to be announced at CRN’s CONVERGENCE ’25, held October 8–10 at the Ritz-Carlton, St. Louis.
The event followed a targeted CRN campaign to introduce all 79 freshman congressional offices to the industry’s impact on public health and the economy.
