MINNEAPOLIS—Target is launching its biggest Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales ever to woo holiday shoppers. From today until November 30, the retailer is offering some of the deepest discounts of the year—up to 50% off—on everything from tech and apparel to toys and home essentials.
The effort will include special three-day-only deals from Thanksgiving Day, November 28, through November 30. This year, the number of deals has doubled compared to last year. The retailer says most Target stores will open their doors at 6 a.m. on Black Friday, welcoming shoppers with hot deals and two exclusive Taylor Swift items—the "Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour Book" and "The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology" album. Both will be available in-store only on Black Friday and in limited quantities.
"Black Friday is all about great deals, and this year, we're going all out to help our customers make the most of their holiday budgets," said Rick Gomez, Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer at Target. "With more deals, exclusive offers, and seamless shopping experiences both in-store and online, we're bringing more joy to the holiday season."
Target says the savings extravaganza will continue after Black Friday. From December 1 to 2, Target.com and the Target app will host a two-day Cyber Monday event, during which new, exclusive deals will be available. Shoppers can preview and shop deals starting today, with offerings like 50% off select holiday trees and up to $150 off certain Apple devices, among others.
Target is also touting its popular Thanksgiving meal deal. The free-to-join Target Circle program offers additional savings opportunities, and Target's Holiday Price Match Guarantee promises peace of mind for price-conscious shoppers, the company says.
