MINNEAPOLIS — Target aims to give shoppers more reasons than ever to shop its stores this holiday season. The retailer is expanding its offerings of gift-worthy merchandise with exclusive product lines and a slew of deals designed to bring cheer to every shopper's budget.

“Consumers are getting ready for one of the most exciting times of the year, which is why we’re leaning into the magic of Tarzhay like never before—with an assortment, value, and experience only Target can deliver,” says Rick Gomez, Target’s executive vice president and chief commercial officer, adding that shoppers can expect not only a vast selection of exclusive and on-trend items but also innovative ways to save that will make their holiday shopping stress-free.

The retailer's holiday shopping season will kick off with Target Circle Week, running from October 6–12. This week-long event offers a full week of daily deals on everything from fall essentials to early holiday must-haves. Consumers can get in-store and online discounts, and those who join the free Target Circle membership program will see savings automatically applied at checkout.

Adding more excitement, Target’s popular "Deal of the Day" program returns. During Circle Week, and from November 1 through the holiday season, members can score daily one-day-only bargains. These offers will ensure shoppers can find everything they need to deck the halls without breaking the bank.

Target says its holiday merchandise lineup is the biggest it’s ever been, with 50% more new items than in previous years. More than half of the retailer’s holiday products will be exclusive to Target, including new toys from brands like Disney and LEGO, festive apparel starting at $5, and over 100 new beauty gifts from trendy brands like Papatui and Being Frenshe.

Target is promising a range of affordable holiday items for the budget-conscious, including more than 1,000 stocking stuffers under $5 and an array of gifts in the Bullseye’s Playground section for under $5. Seasonal food and beverage treats will also remain wallet-friendly, with 80% of the Wondershop selection priced at $10 or less.

Target fans can also look forward to the return of exclusive merchandise from the upcoming "Wicked" film. The store will offer themed products and in-store activations to create an immersive holiday experience.

More Ways to Save and Shop

To simplify holiday shopping, Target says it has slashed prices on 5,000 everyday essentials and continues offering flexible shopping options. Customers can pick up orders in-store, use curbside Drive Up services, or have their purchases delivered directly to their door with free two-day shipping on orders over $35. Target Circle members can also save an additional 5% when paying with the Target Circle card.

To make sure customers have a seamless holiday shopping experience, Target is also ramping up its staffing efforts, with plans to hire 100,000 seasonal employees. These team members will help manage the increased demand for services like Order Pickup and Drive Up and ensure that shelves remain stocked throughout the season.

These preparations are all part of Target's push to be a go-to shopping destination this holiday season.
