WAYNE, Pa. — The Emerson Group has announced a number of changes and realignments to their organization that will allow the company to focus its personnel resources and further build out capabilities to better serve their brands and retailers.
Jen Beatty, East Area Lead, will pick up responsibility for both Inside Sales and Drug Wholesale retail, while maintaining lead responsibility for CORE East Coast Food (Kroger, Publix, Wakefern and Meijer).
Joe Gisewhite will continue to lead the Inside Sales Team reporting to Jen. “Our Inside Sales team will focus on developing and providing expanded coverage for small retailers, alternate channels and downstream retailers that pull from wholesalers,” said the company.
The Drug Wholesale retail team covering AmerisourceBergen, McKesson, Cardinal, Marcs and DDM will be led by Beatty. “Our goal is to provide a focused and cohesive effort on aligning our trade plans across the channel with more than 20,000 independent drug retailers,” said the company.
Stephen Rohrbach has been appointed Regional Grocery and Drug Lead East and will pick up responsibility for the Regional Grocery and Drug retailers in the East Area while continuing to manage Harris Teeter, Food Lion, Lowes and MDI. Jason Dominick, Courtney Papaccioli, Shawna Snyder, Jennifer Scarozza, Anthony McDonough and Gabby Rapoza will now report into Stephen. Stephen will continue to report into Jen Beatty.
Gabby Rapoza will add Ingles and Food City retailers to her current sales responsibility for Southeastern Grocers.
Mike Mueller has been appointed Lead of Healthcare Distributor Channel. “Mike will continue to have responsibility for our GPO and Institutional Sales as well as the oversight of our partnership with D2 Pharma. As part of our expanded focus, Mike will pick-up responsibility for developing out the coverage of Healthcare facilities, Medical Distributors, Nursing Homes, Hospitals and Pharmacy buying groups. As our portfolio continues to evolve, we have identified this group of influencers and product users as a key opportunity for our brands. Mike will continue to report to Ed Morgan,” said the company.
Lastly, Anna Marie La Venia has been appointed General Manager of the Emerson Group’s Consumer Care Center. Over the last 15 years, Anna Marie has built a consumer care organization from the ground up. Today, our Consumer Care Team services over 30 clients, fielding over 100,000 consumer inquiries annually. Consumer Care will continue to play a more critical role in connecting brands and consumers through multiple mediums including phone, email, chat and texting. “Our goal is to provide consumer care excellence to Health, Wellness & Beauty brands across North America by delivering a flexible go-to-market solution for client partners selling online as well as brick & mortar,” the company added.
