BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – Tractor Supply Co. is partnering with Instacart to offer same-day delivery of pet supplies, farm and garden essentials, animal feed, tools and other merchandise at no markup, the companies announced this week in a press release.
Customers shopping Tractor Supply’s assortment on Instacart will have their orders fulfilled by one of 2,435 Tractor Supply stores in 49 states and delivered by Instacart, in some cases in under an hour.
"We're committed to making living the ‘life out here’ lifestyle easier and more convenient," said Matthew Rubin, president of digital and ecommerce at Tractor Supply. "This partnership also introduces Tractor Supply to millions of Instacart users as a dependable supplier of the products they need to care for their pets, animals and land."
The specialty retailer operates in a highly fragmented, niche market of farmers, horse owners, ranchers, part-time and hobby farmers, and suburban and rural property owners, as well as contractors and tradesmen.
Tractor Supply joins more than 2,200 national and local retail banners – representing nearly 100,000 stores -- on the Instacart Marketplace.
Instacart powers ecommerce, fulfillment, in-store technology, AI offerings, and advertising for partners through its marketplace, the Instacart Enterprise platform, and the Instacart Ads ecosystem.
