LOS ANGELES — Walmart plans to open a 33,000 square-foot Neighborhood Market on the ground floor of a senior housing complex in the Chinatown district of downtown Los Angeles.

An opening date has not been set.

Walmart currently operates 167 Neighborhood Markets across the United States, and opened its first outlet in Chicago last year.
