The memo indicates that the people who run Walmart stores in developed markets, including the United States, will be given responsibility for the websites in those markets.
In addition, according to the memo, two of Walmart’s top e-commerce executives have decided to leave the company. They are Raul Vazquez, who headed the company’s e-commerce developed markets e-commerce group, and Steve Nave, who headed the Walmart.com business in the United States.
The changes were due to be announced to Walmart employees on Friday, Reuters said.
