ORCHARD PARK, NY – Wegmans and the Buffalo Bills announced today the extension and expansion of their partnership, building on a successful collaboration first launched in 2021. As part of the renewed agreement, Wegmans will continue as the Official Tailgate Headquarters of the Buffalo Bills and become a Founding Partner of the team’s new Highmark Stadium, slated to open in 2026.
The partnership has already delivered a significant community impact, with more than $4 million raised to fight food insecurity, tens of thousands of pounds of food donated, and youth programs funded throughout upstate New York. Initiatives like Huddle for Hunger, allergen-friendly food drives, and the Play 60 Health and Wellness Initiative have united Bills fans and Wegmans customers in strengthening local communities.
“Our partnership with the Buffalo Bills has made a powerful impact—raising millions, providing meals for families facing food insecurity, and supporting programs that strengthen our communities,” said Deana Percassi, Wegmans vice president of community engagement and communications. “The Bills share our commitment to giving back, and Bills Mafia has embraced these efforts in an incredible way. We’re proud of what we’ve accomplished together and excited to build on and expand this impact further into our upstate New York markets in the years ahead.”
As part of its new role, Wegmans will also serve as the presenting partner of the Buffalo Bills Training Camp in Pittsford, N.Y., and will continue to roll out exclusive product collaborations. Current offerings include limited-edition Fisher-Price® Little People Collector™ Buffalo Bills figure sets and the Wegmans Brand Josh Allen MVP Puffs cereal.
“We’re absolutely thrilled to have Wegmans continue as the Official Tailgate Headquarters of the Buffalo Bills and welcome them as a Founding Partner of new Highmark Stadium. As a beloved cornerstone of Western New York pride and community spirit, Wegmans embodies the heart of Bills Mafia—delivering fresh, quality food for every game day ritual and beyond. This partnership marks an exciting milestone as we gear up for the 2026 opening of Highmark Stadium, blending Wegmans’ commitment to our region with the electric energy of Bills fans. Together, we’ll power unforgettable tailgates, fan experiences, and community initiatives that keep Western New York charging forward,” said Jason Hartlund, Bills Chief Commercial Officer.
“Our partnership with the Buffalo Bills gives us a unique way to connect with our customers through products they’re truly excited about,” said Craig Hoffman, Wegmans senior vice president of marketing. “From exclusive items to community-driven initiatives, we’ve seen firsthand how much these offerings resonate with our customers, and we look forward to bringing them even more in the seasons ahead.”
With Highmark Stadium’s 2026 debut on the horizon, Wegmans’ expanded role will bring fans closer to the action while reinforcing the company’s deep ties to the Buffalo region and beyond.
