Weis 4 School Program generates $525,000 for local Schools

Weis Markets Charitable Foundation and Weis customers generate donations for schools in seven states

SUNBURY, Pa.  – Weis Markets today announced its 2025-2026 Weis 4 School program has generated $525,000 in combined donations for schools throughout its seven-state market area.

Since the program began, Weis 4 School has generated a combined $3.3 million in donations for more than 1,000 schools serving students from pre-K through eighth grade.

“Our customers have strongly supported Weis 4 School because they see firsthand the important role their local schools play in their communities. It’s important to our customers, and it’s important to us,” said Maria Rizzo, Weis Markets Vice President of Marketing and Advertising. “During the 2025-2026 school year, we saw record participation. We’re grateful to our customers for their continued support.”

Spring Garden Elementary in Hampstead, Maryland, generated the program’s largest donation at $19,327, followed by Thurmont Primary School in Thurmont, Maryland, at $18,502 and Shiloh Middle School in Hampstead, Maryland, at $18,156.

Participating Weis customers, who linked their Rewards card to the pre-K through eighth-grade school of their choice, earned funds for their schools based on qualifying purchases made during the 2025-2026 school year.

Donations were made possible through support from the Weis Markets Charitable Foundation and customer contributions at self-checkout in August.

Weis Markets customers can now link their Rewards card online at www.weis4school.com for the 2026-27 program that will run through May 31, 2027.
