Weis Markets to celebrate remodel of Linglestown store

Redesigned store brings fresh look and expanded offerings to local community

SUNBURY, Pa. —Weis Markets will celebrate the re-opening of its Linglestown, Pa, store with a ribbon cutting on Thursday, June 4, 2026. Lower Paxton Township officials will be in attendance, alongside representatives from local organizations and Weis Markets executives, including chairman and chief executive officer Jonathan Weis and chief operating officer Bob Gleeson.

In celebration of the grand re-opening and to thank the community for their support, Weis Markets will present donations to the Jewish Family Service of Greater Harrisburg; Linglestown Fire Company No. 1; American Legion Post 272, Linglestown; Linglestown Middle School PTO; Linglestown Elementary School PTO; and Central Pennsylvania Food Bank. 

The store has been completely redesigned, including: 

  • Updated exterior to reflect the contemporary Weis Markets model, including a new entrance and vestibule area 
  • Enhanced interior décor reflective of the Linglestown community;
  • New drive-thru pharmacy for improved customer convenience; 
  • Expanded variety across all departments, including an increased variety of fresh items;
  • Larger seafood, bakery and floral departments;
  • New Gas N’ Go Fuel Center;
  • Increased variety with a market-style produce department; and
  • Expanded selection of cheeses, Kosher products, and beer and wine.

The remodel began with the six-pump Gas N’ Go Fuel Center, which opened in 2025. In recognition of the project being completed, beginning June 4 and running through July 11, Weis Markets will double the gas discount at its Linglestown Gas N’ Go to 20¢ off per gallon with every 100 points redeemed.
