LOS ANGELES — Natural beverage maker One Natural Experience (O.N.E.) has rolled out O.N.E. Active, a new line of coconut water that’s now available exclusively this summer at Whole Foods Market stores nationwide.

Natural beverage maker One Natural Experience (O.N.E.) has rolled out O.N.E. Active, a new line of coconut water that’s now available exclusively this summer at Whole Foods Market stores nationwide.

The company said O.N.E. Active provides the same all-natural health benefits and essential electrolytes found in its O.N.E. Coconut Water super-hydrator beverage but with the addition of ginkgo biloba, ginseng and catuaba to provide the added edge of sharpening the mind while engaging in sports or any other intense physical activity.

O.N.E. Active is particularly geared to sports enthusiasts or people with an active lifestyle who need both physical and mental endurance to perform at peak levels on the playing field, in the workplace or in the classroom, according to O.N.E. Unlike other sports drinks, the new beverage also doesn’t contain high fructose corn syrup, preservatives, artificial flavors and day-glo colors.

And because O.N.E. Active contains all five essential minerals — potassium, calcium, magnesium, phosphorus and sodium — in the form of electrolytes, these are absorbed into the bloodstream with much greater efficiency, the company noted. O.N.E. Active speeds fluid to the cells to rehydrate, refuel and replenish the body with optimum benefit to the heart, muscles, nerves and skin — all essential for warding off fatigue, cooling the body and achieving peak performance, O.N.E. explained.

The company added that ginkgo biloba, ginseng and catuaba bark have been used medicinally for thousands of years and work to deliver more oxygen to the brain. Extracts of these herbs added to O.N.E. Active raise the bar on O.N.E. Coconut Water’s natural abilities: ginkgo biloba sharpens mental focus and concentration; ginseng increases energy and builds resistance to environmental stresses; and catuaba bark boosts vigor and stamina. O.N.E. Active also includes calcium to help maintain good bone density and anti-oxidants to fight free-radicals from environmental toxins.

O.N.E. Active comes in three flavors: grape/ berry, lemon/lime and cranberry/grapefruit. All are naturally sweetened with stevia and contain only 40 calories and nearly 400 milligrams of potassium per serving (16.9 ounces). O.N.E. Active is packaged in environmentally friendly 500 ml screw-top Tetra Pak cartons with a suggested retail price of $1.99.

"O.N.E. is proud to partner with Whole Foods Market to be the first to offer customers O.N.E. Active, the first coconut water-based sports drink fortified with energizing botanicals and sweetened with the increasingly popular natural sweetener, stevia," stated O.N.E. founder and chief executive Rodrigo Veloso.

O.N.E. is available in more than 14,000 retail outlets, including Whole Foods, Publix, Kroger Co. stores and Trader Joe’s.
