Whole Foods Market in Los Gatos, Calif., now open

The new store is almost double the size of the previous location, with expanded departments, a coffee and juice bar, more seating areas and a larger, dedicated parking lot for customers

Newest location to include a coffee and juice bar, will feature more than 2,000 products from 350+ California-based suppliers

LOS GATOS, Calif. — Whole Foods Market will open a new 43,130-square-foot store, located at 15650 Los Gatos Blvd. in Los Gatos, California, on April 15, 2026. The store will open at 9 a.m. on opening day, and regular store hours will be 8 a.m. - 10 p.m. daily. The store is a relocation of the existing Los Gatos store, which has served the community for more than 30 years.

The new store is almost double the size of the previous location, with expanded departments, a coffee and juice bar, more seating areas and a larger, dedicated parking lot for customers. The new location’s product assortment features more than 2,000 local items from California-based suppliers, sourced with the help of Patrick Wyman, Forager for Local & Emerging Brands at Whole Foods Market.

Features of the new Los Gatos store include:

  • A coffee and juice bar offering made-to-order coffee, tea, juices and smoothies. Beverages include signature coffee drinks like the Brown Butter Cookie Latte and Berry Chantilly Latte, and fresh, juiced-to-order vegetable and fruit juice blends as well as signature smoothies like Passionately Green and Tropical Tango.
  • Specialty department dedicated to celebrating cheesemakers and artisan producers. Local assortment includes product from Andante Dairyopens in a new tabCharles Chocolatesopens in a new tab and Nicasio Valley Cheeseopens in a new tab. The cheese counter is overseen by trained cheesemongers who can offer recommendations for any occasion.

Opening morning, customers will enjoy coffee and pastry samples from local suppliers. The first 300 customers in line will receive a limited-edition Los Gatos tote bag and a Secret Saver coupon featuring savings up to $100 off.

In celebration of the opening, Whole Foods Market is providing an all-electric refrigerated van and food donation to West Valley Community Servicesopens in a new tab, which makes regular surplus food pickups from local Whole Foods Market stores to help prevent food waste and serve the surrounding community. Both donations are part of Whole Foods Market’s Nourishing Our Neighborhoods program, which aims to enhance the ability of local food rescue organizations to transport surplus food to areas facing the greatest need. Whole Foods Market will also provide monetary donations to Ma’alot Farmsopens in a new tab and River of Life Food Pantryopens in a new tab.

All food at Whole Foods Market must meet the company’s rigorous quality standardsopens in a new tab, which prohibit hydrogenated fats, high-fructose corn syrup and more than 300 flavors, colors, sweeteners and other ingredients commonly found in food. In addition, all beauty and body care products must meet the company’s body care standards, which ban more than 240 commonly used ingredients, including phthalates, parabens and microbeads.

Prime members who shop at Whole Foods Market have access to a number of benefits year-round, including deep discounts on select popular products each week and an additional 10% off hundreds of in-store sale items.
