AUSTIN, Texas — Whole Foods Market Inc. has promoted two regional presidents to the position of executive vice president of operations and added them to the chain’s executive leadership team.

David Lannon, who had been regional president of Northern California, and Ken Meyer, who was regional president of the Mid-Atlantic area, join John Mackey and Walter Robb, co-chief executive officers; Glenda Flanagan, EVP and chief financial officer; A.C. Gallo, president and chief operating officer; and Jim Sud, EVP for growth and business development, on the executive leadership team.
Reporting to Lannon and Meyer will be Whole Foods’ 12 regional presidents.
