Winn-Dixie salutes America’s heroes with 11% Veterans Day discount

Customers can also support military families through Razzle Dazzle grape purchases benefiting the USO

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Winn-Dixie Company (TWDC) is honoring veterans, active-duty service members and military families this Veterans Day through special savings and community support initiatives designed to give back to those who serve.

On Nov. 11, veterans and active-duty military personnel who present valid military or veteran identification will receive 11% off qualifying in-store purchases at participating Winn-Dixie grocery stores.

In addition, TWDC and the Winn-Dixie Gives Foundation are partnering with DLJ Produce to support military families through a charitable campaign benefiting the United Service Organizations (USO). Through Nov. 11, the companies will donate 5 cents for every pound of Razzle Dazzle Premium Grapes sold at Winn-Dixie stores throughout Florida and southern Georgia, with a total donation of up to $50,000 supporting USO programs and services.

“Veterans, active-duty service members and military families make extraordinary sacrifices in service to our country,” said a Winn-Dixie spokesperson. “Veterans Day is an opportunity to recognize and thank them for their dedication while providing meaningful ways for our customers to join us in supporting military communities.”

Winn-Dixie has a longstanding commitment to serving military families in the communities where it operates. Since 2018, The Winn-Dixie Company and the Winn-Dixie Gives Foundation have contributed more than $8.4 million to organizations and initiatives that support veterans, active-duty service members and their families.
