Yesway raises $200,000 for Texas Hill Country flood relief

The effort will benefit The Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country’s Kerr County Flood Relief Fund.

FORT WORTH, Texas – Yesway, one of the nation’s fastest-growing convenience store operators, has raised $200,000 to aid Texas Hill Country communities impacted by the devastating Kerr County floods over Independence Day weekend. The effort, which far exceeded the company’s original fundraising goal, will benefit The Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country’s Kerr County Flood Relief Fund.

Yesway launched the campaign with a $100,000 corporate commitment and rallied customers, employees, and supplier partners to join the effort. Contributions at Yesway and Allsup’s stores across nine states, combined with support from suppliers including Good2Grow, brought in more than $80,000 in additional donations.

"We feel deeply for our fellow Texans in the Texas Hill Country," said Tom Trkla, chairman, president and chief executive officer of Yesway. "We hope these funds will ease immediate hardships and help rebuild these vibrant communities. We are grateful to the Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country for ensuring these resources go where they can do the most good."

The Kerr County Flood Relief Fund is focused on addressing urgent needs while supporting long-term recovery efforts.

Yesway’s commitment to community mirrors its growth strategy. In recent years, the Fort Worth-based company has developed and opened 85 new stores, designed not only as full-service convenience destinations but also as hubs of local connection and support.

"Our heartfelt thanks go to our supplier partners—including Good2Grow—whose generosity amplified this effort. We are equally inspired by our compassionate Yesway and Allsup's customers and employees, who contributed more than $80,000 at our stores across the nine states where we operate," Trkla added.

“On behalf of all of us at Yesway, thank you to everyone who contributed. Your compassion and generosity will make a tangible difference in the lives of those affected by these floods, and we are honored to stand with the Texas Hill Country during this difficult time.”

Yesway, founded in 2015, operates 436 stores across Texas, New Mexico, South Dakota, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Wyoming, Oklahoma, and Nebraska under its Yesway and Allsup’s banners.
